Step 16 Schedule Closing

At this point we can “pencil in” your closing date.  You can arrange to make time in your schedule, just know the date could change.  In fact it will often not be confirmed until the “clear to close” comes with as little notice as one or two days possible, sometimes as much as a week.

Closing normally happens at the title company chosen by the buyer and confirmed by you when you signed the purchase agreement.

The title company will advise you on what you need to bring to closing.

If you are giving possession at close, the keys are normally exchanged after signing.  If you are giving possession at a later date the method of exchange of keys is normally agreed upon at this time.
